Since our charter in 1947, our American Legion Post has been welcoming Service Members from all branches of our Armed Forces. Today, we continue to welcome all military personnel serving our country. Joining our Post enables you to continue serving your God, Country and Community. Our mission is to implement the goals, aspirations, dreams, peace, and blessings for our country, friends, and families.
To the wonderful patriotic citizens of the Okinawa community; join our Post as a Booster or sponsor. 100% of the monies raised are given back to the community. International Cemetary Cleanup
The Tomari International Cemetery clean-up will take place on the last Sunday of each month starting at 0900 hours. All are invited to meet at the Tomari International Cemetery. If you would like to participate, please message the American Legion Post OK28 Facebook page!

Ernie Pyle Memorial
The 80th annual Ernie Pyle memorial will take place on 19 April at the memorial site on Eishima Island
Free transportation will be arranged by the post however, individuals must pay the passenger cost to ride the ferry. Signup sheet for the bus is located behind the bar.
